    Chiropractic May Boost Golfers’ Performance

    Chiropractic May Boost Golfers’ Performance

According to a report in the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine, visiting a chiropractor for chiropractic adjustment treatments may improve the quality of golfers’ golf swings.

The study looked at golfers from two different golf clubs in Brazil’s Sao Paulo. The 34 participants were separated into two groups, with the average golfing performance of both groups comparable.

The participants were then asked to practice their golf swing and then hit three balls. The distance they hit the balls was then measured.

One group of golfers then underwent chiropractic adjustments and participated in a stretching program over four weeks, while the other group only engaged in the stretching. The chiropractic care group was found to demonstrate widespread improvement in the quality of their full swings, while the other group demonstrated no significant improvement.
